Legs-apart seat-hogging
Manspreading is sitting with legs spread wide apart, especially by men on public transit, taking up more than one seat's worth of space.
The term emerged in the 2010s as feminist commentary on entitled male behavior in shared spaces: The guy next to me was manspreading so badly I was pressed against the window.
It belongs to a family of "man-" coinages (mansplaining, manterrupting) criticizing gendered social obliviousness.
