manege
Equestrian training ground
A manege is a riding school or an enclosed area where horses are trained and riders learn horsemanship.
The word also refers to the art of training horses or the movements and paces taught to them—what's sometimes called dressage: The horses performed intricate manege figures.
The spelling manège, with the accent, appears in more formal contexts.
