majority decision
Vote count wins
A majority decision is an outcome reached when more than half of a group agrees, as opposed to unanimity or a mere plurality.
In boxing and MMA, it specifically means a win where two of three judges favor one fighter while the third scores it a draw: He won by majority decision after twelve rounds.
