loading ramp
Truck-to-dock bridge
A loading ramp is an inclined surface connecting two different levels, used for moving cargo, vehicles, or livestock between a platform and the ground or between a vehicle and a dock.
Trucks back up to loading ramps at warehouses; livestock walk up ramps into trailers; wheelchair ramps serve a similar function for people.
The forklift rolled up the loading ramp to the warehouse floor.
