living god
Earthly supreme being
A living god is a person worshipped or venerated as divine while still alive—an emperor, pharaoh, or spiritual leader believed to embody godhood on earth.
The phrase also works as hyperbole for someone commanding extreme devotion or authority: He struts around the office like he's a living god.
In fantasy and gaming, living gods are deities who walk among mortals.
