liturgists
Ceremony design experts
Liturgists are specialists in liturgy—the formal, prescribed rituals and ceremonies of religious worship.
A liturgist may be a scholar who studies the history and theology of worship practices, or a clergy member responsible for planning and conducting services.
Churches with elaborate traditions, such as Catholic, Orthodox, and some Protestant denominations, rely heavily on liturgists to ensure ceremonies follow proper form: The liturgists debated whether to revise the communion rite.
