light cream
Pale dairy pour
Light cream is cream with a relatively low fat content, typically around 18-30% milkfat—richer than half-and-half but lighter than heavy cream.
It's used in coffee, sauces, and soups where some richness is desired without the thickness of whipping cream: I take my coffee with light cream.
