reduced fat
Trimmed of lipids
Reduced fat describes food products containing at least 25 percent less fat than the standard version: reduced fat milk, reduced fat peanut butter.
The term is regulated by food labeling laws, distinguishing it from vaguer claims like "light" or "less fat." Reduced fat doesn't mean low fat—a reduced fat cheese may still be relatively high in fat.
