lensman
One capturing images
A lensman is a photographer or cinematographer—someone who works behind a camera lens.
The term appears mainly in journalism and entertainment contexts: The veteran lensman captured the defining image of the protest.
It has an old-fashioned, trade-publication flavor, more common in headlines than conversation.
