laggy
Slow to respond
Laggy describes a slow or delayed response, especially in computing and gaming.
A laggy connection causes frustrating delays between input and action: The game was so laggy I kept getting killed.
Laggy video calls stutter and freeze.
The word comes from lag, the gap between action and response, with the informal -y suffix marking something characterized by that quality.
