knowest

Archaic for perceive

Knowest is an archaic second-person singular form of know, used with thou in Early Modern English.

It appears frequently in the King James Bible and Shakespeare: Thou knowest the truth.

Like other -est verb endings (dost, hast, sayest), it survives mainly in religious texts, historical fiction, and deliberately old-fashioned speech.
