kimura
Bent arm lock
A kimura is a grappling submission hold in which the attacker controls an opponent's arm and rotates the shoulder joint by bending the wrist toward the back while immobilizing the elbow.
Named after judoka Masahiko Kimura, who famously used it to defeat Hélio Gracie in 1951, the technique is fundamental in judo, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and mixed martial arts.
He tapped out to a kimura in the second round.
