kerbstones
Pavement boundary blocks
Kerbstones are the individual stone or concrete blocks that form a kerb—the raised edge separating a pavement from a roadway.
The word is British; Americans say curbstones.
The old kerbstones were cracked and uneven.
Workers replaced the damaged kerbstones along the high street.
