juice concentrate
Dehydrated fruit essence
Juice concentrate is fruit juice with most of its water removed, leaving a thick, intensely flavored syrup.
It's reconstituted by adding water back before drinking, or used as-is for cooking and flavoring.
Concentrate is cheaper to transport and store than regular juice: The label says "from concentrate," meaning they added water back at the factory.
