jazz festival
Outdoor improvisational gathering
A jazz festival is a multiday event featuring performances by jazz musicians, typically held outdoors or across multiple venues in a city.
Major examples include the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and the Montreux Jazz Festival.
Most jazz festivals have expanded to include blues, soul, and other genres: The jazz festival lineup included hip-hop artists this year.
