park concert
Lawn music event
A park concert is a musical performance held in a public park, typically outdoors and often free to attend.
Cities and communities organize park concerts as summer entertainment, with audiences gathering on blankets or lawn chairs: We packed a picnic for the park concert.
The term covers everything from local band performances to major orchestral events.
