Iron-on transfers are designs printed on special paper that can be applied to fabric using heat, typically from a household iron.
The heat melts an adhesive backing, bonding the image permanently to the material.
Popular for customizing t-shirts and tote bags: She made iron-on transfers of her kids' artwork for grandma's birthday gift.
