index-linked

Tied to indicator

Index-linked describes payments, investments, or values that adjust automatically according to a specified index—usually inflation.

Index-linked bonds, pensions, or wages rise with the cost of living, protecting against purchasing power erosion: Her pension is index-linked, so it keeps pace with inflation.

The term is more common in British than American English, where indexed often substitutes.
