hyperimmune

Exceptionally antibody-rich

Hyperimmune describes an immune response that is unusually strong or has been artificially enhanced.

In medicine, hyperimmune serum or plasma comes from donors with exceptionally high antibody levels against a specific pathogen, often because they've recovered from infection or received repeated vaccinations: hyperimmune globulin for hepatitis B.

The term also applies to exaggerated immune reactions that can cause tissue damage.
