hypercarnivore

Mostly flesh diet

A hypercarnivore is an animal whose diet consists almost entirely of meat—typically 70 percent or more.

Cats, both domestic and wild, are classic hypercarnivores, as are most sharks and crocodilians.

The term distinguishes these obligate meat-eaters from omnivores and from carnivores that supplement their diet with significant plant matter.

Wolves are hypercarnivores that occasionally eat berries when prey is scarce.
