home key
Typing finger anchor
Home key has two common meanings in computing.
On a keyboard, the Home key moves the cursor to the beginning of a line or document.
In touch typing, the home keys are the eight keys where fingers rest in the starting position—A, S, D, F for the left hand and J, K, L, semicolon for the right, with the index fingers on the keys with raised bumps.
