holydays
Religious celebration days
Holydays is an older or more formal spelling of holidays, emphasizing the religious origin—days set apart as holy.
The spelling survives in certain ecclesiastical contexts: holydays of obligation in Catholicism are feast days requiring Mass attendance.
In general usage, holidays has largely displaced it.
