high school teams
Teen athletic groups
High school teams are the athletic squads representing secondary schools in organized competition.
The phrase appears constantly in local sports coverage: Three high school teams from our district made it to state.
Beyond athletics, it extends to academic and extracurricular groups—debate teams, robotics teams, quiz bowl teams—though sports remain the default reference.
