high-riser
Towering urban structure
A high-riser is a tall building, synonymous with high-rise but less common.
The term also refers to a type of bicycle popular in the 1960s and 70s with high handlebars and a banana seat: Kids in the neighborhood all wanted high-risers.
In some contexts, a high-riser is a bed frame elevated for storage underneath.
