Toward your heels
Heelside refers to the edge of a snowboard or wakeboard nearest the rider's heels, as opposed to the toeside edge near the toes.
Turning or carving heelside means shifting weight onto that edge: I'm more comfortable with heelside turns.
The term functions as both adjective and adverb in board sports.
