hand kissing
Chivalrous lip gesture
Hand kissing is the gesture of raising someone's hand to your lips as a greeting or sign of respect.
Once common in European etiquette—a man kissing a woman's hand, or a subject kissing a royal's—it now appears mainly in formal ceremonies, period dramas, or deliberately old-fashioned gallantry: He bowed and kissed her hand.
