golfer's elbow

Inner arm pain

Golfer's elbow is pain and inflammation where the tendons of the forearm attach to the bony bump on the inside of the elbow.

Despite the name, it affects anyone who repeatedly grips, twists, or flexes the wrist—plumbers, carpenters, and desk workers as often as golfers.

The medical term is medial epicondylitis.

Compare tennis elbow, which affects the outside of the elbow.
