godbrother
Shared godparent's child
A godbrother is the son of one's godparent, or the godson of one's parent—a relationship created through the spiritual kinship of godparenthood rather than blood.
The term parallels godsibling relationships like godsister.
In some communities, godbrother extends informally to close male friends treated as family: He's not related to me, but he's been my godbrother since we were kids.
