gas law

Ideal behavior equation

A gas law is a principle describing how gases behave under varying conditions of pressure, volume, and temperature.

The most familiar are Boyle's law (pressure and volume vary inversely), Charles's law (volume increases with temperature), and the ideal gas law, which combines these relationships: We used the gas law to calculate the tank pressure at different altitudes.
