Overdrive pedal type
A fuzzbox is an effects pedal that distorts an electric guitar's signal, producing a fuzzy, growling, or buzzing tone.
The effect became iconic in 1960s rock music and remains central to heavy and psychedelic genres: He stomped on the fuzzbox for the solo.
Also called a fuzz pedal or simply fuzz.
