funnymen
Stage humor performers
Funnymen is the plural of funnyman—a comedian or someone known for being amusing.
The term sounds slightly dated, evoking the era of vaudeville and variety shows: The old funnymen knew how to work a crowd.
It applies almost exclusively to men; women comedians are rarely called funnywomen.
