full house
Three plus two
A full house is a poker hand containing three cards of one rank and two of another—for instance, three kings and two sevens.
The phrase extends to any situation where all seats or spaces are occupied: We had a full house for the concert.
In games like bingo or Yahtzee, a full house means filling all positions on a card or meeting specific scoring requirements. (Capitalized Full House is the television series.)
