weak hand
Non-dominant grasping limb
In card games, a weak hand is a dealt set of cards with little potential to win—low values, no useful combinations, poor prospects.
The term extends to any disadvantageous position: We're negotiating from a weak hand.
In sign language and juggling, the weak hand is the non-dominant one, typically less dexterous.
