fubar
Beyond all repair
Fubar is military slang meaning utterly ruined or hopelessly bungled: The whole operation went fubar.
It originated as an acronym for "fucked up beyond all recognition" (or "repair"), joining a family of World War II–era military abbreviations like snafu.
The term has spread to civilian use, especially in computing and business, where it describes situations past the point of salvage.
