foursomes
Pairs of pairs
Foursomes is the plural of foursome, a group of four people engaged in the same activity.
Golf foursomes are the most common reference: We have a foursome for Saturday morning.
The word also applies to group sex involving four participants.
Any gathering of four can be called a foursome, though it sounds slightly playful or dated outside golf and sex contexts.
