fourballs
Paired match play
Fourballs is a golf format where two teams of two players compete, with each player playing their own ball throughout.
On each hole, the lower score between the two teammates counts as the team's score.
The format appears in major team competitions like the Ryder Cup: They won three of the four fourballs on the opening day.
