forth
Out and away
Forth means forward or onward, especially in expressions of movement or progress: go forth, set forth, from this day forth.
The word appears mainly in fixed phrases and formal contexts.
Back and forth describes repeated movement in opposite directions.
And so forth means "and more of the same." Forth sounds archaic in everyday speech but survives in these common expressions.
