foam roller
Self-massage tube
A foam roller is a cylindrical piece of dense foam used for self-massage and muscle recovery, typically by placing it on the floor and rolling one's body over it to release tension in soft tissue.
The practice, sometimes called self-myofascial release, is popular among athletes and fitness enthusiasts for easing muscle soreness and improving flexibility.
I use a foam roller on my IT band after long runs.
