film clips

Scenes spliced together

Film clips are short excerpts from movies, typically used in reviews, documentaries, award shows, or promotional materials.

The term emphasizes brevity—a clip captures a moment or scene rather than an extended sequence: The documentary featured film clips from the director's early work.
