Facias is the plural of fascia, referring to the flat horizontal bands running beneath a roofline, or the signboards mounted on storefronts: The new facias gave the shopping center a modern look.
In anatomy and automotive contexts, the Latin plural fasciae is more common, but facias dominates in British building and retail usage.
