extra toes
More than ten
Extra toes are additional digits beyond the usual five on a human foot, a condition called polydactyly.
The term appears most often in casual contexts describing cats—polydactyl cats, sometimes called Hemingway cats, are prized by some owners: Our tabby has extra toes on both front paws.
Extra toes can also describe any situation where something has more appendages or extensions than expected.
