exit holes
Where bullets leave
Exit holes are the openings left when something passes through and emerges from the other side—most commonly bullets leaving a body or insects boring out of wood.
Exit holes are typically larger and more ragged than entry holes: The exit hole in the back of the skull was massive.
Forensic investigators use exit holes to determine bullet trajectory.
