sticky traps
Glue-covered pest catchers
Sticky traps are pest control devices coated with adhesive that catches insects or small rodents when they walk across the surface.
They're used for monitoring infestations or reducing populations of cockroaches, flies, mice, and other pests: I put sticky traps behind the refrigerator.
Unlike snap traps, they don't kill instantly—animals die slowly from exhaustion or starvation, which some consider inhumane.
