ex-employee

No longer employed

An ex-employee is someone who formerly worked for a company or organization but no longer does.

The term is neutral about circumstances—it covers people who quit, retired, were laid off, or were fired: The leak came from a disgruntled ex-employee.

Often hyphenated, though *ex employee* and *exemployee* also appear.
