escape plan
How to flee
An escape plan is a strategy for getting out of a dangerous or undesirable situation.
It most commonly refers to emergency routes from buildings during fires or other disasters: Every household should have an escape plan.
The term also applies to schemes for fleeing captivity or imprisonment, and figuratively to any exit strategy from an unwanted circumstance: What's your escape plan if this job falls through?
