crisis intervention
Urgent help action
Crisis intervention is immediate, short-term assistance provided to someone experiencing acute psychological distress or emergency—a suicide attempt, mental breakdown, or traumatic event.
The goal is stabilization rather than long-term treatment: reduce danger, restore basic functioning, and connect the person with ongoing support.
The hotline provides 24-hour crisis intervention.
