e-novella
Online brief fiction
An e-novella is a novella—a work of fiction longer than a short story but shorter than a novel—published and distributed in electronic format rather than print.
Like other e-books, e-novellas are read on devices such as e-readers, tablets, or smartphones.
The format has become popular with independent authors and small publishers because digital distribution eliminates printing costs, making shorter works economically viable.
I downloaded an e-novella for my commute.
