dyebath
Color immersion liquid
A dyebath is a liquid solution containing dye, in which fabric or other materials are immersed to absorb color.
The term refers both to the mixture itself and the container holding it: She prepared a dyebath of indigo and water.
Multiple items can be dyed in the same bath until the color is exhausted.
