duneland
Coastal sand hills
Duneland is a landscape dominated by sand dunes, typically found along coastlines or in desert regions.
The term describes both the terrain itself and areas named for this geography: We hiked through the duneland along Lake Michigan.
Indiana Dunes National Park preserves notable duneland ecosystems.
