dropkicker

Old-style kicker

A dropkicker is someone who performs a dropkick—a kick executed by dropping a ball and striking it as it bounces, or in wrestling and martial arts, a jumping kick where both feet strike the opponent.

In Australian and Irish football, dropkicking is a standard technique, so the term appears more frequently there: He's the best dropkicker in the league.
